I just received a rushed 3-minute call from Jeanie. She’s presently in Paihia, in the Bay of Island (sic) which is located at the northern end of North Island. In the approximately 48 hours that she’s been in New Zealand, she has met up with a couple friends-of-friends in Auckland, and got a mild sunburn while swimming with dolphins. As we talked, she was about to depart for a day-long sail.
That’s about all I can tell you. She sounded happy and energetic, and enthused about how wonderful the place was, closing with “Love to all!”
