Checking in from Waitomo
So it's Thursday February 6th and I'm here in Waitomo home of the famous Black Water Rafting with glow worms. Having a grand time - did a black water tubing/caving thing a bit ago. Fun but a bit chilly. But a great time. Yesterday I went to a traditional Maori Hangi and bought a great Maori carving. Also went to a geothermal park and saw some boiling mud and some gysers.
In about 20 m ins we're heading to Taupo for 2 nights and tomorrow I am going to do a tandem sky dive. This place is amazing the landscape and culture and atmosphere. All of it is wonderful.
I've got to scoot but I'll try to check in later.
